University - Enterprise Relationships – ‘Opportunities and Threats’ was the topic of the first workshop of the UNILINK Project, held on 16th December in Jendouba, Tunisia.
The importance of the topic and the workshop was clearly expressed through the high number of attendees - some 90 representatives from different universities and the business sector from all around Tunisia participated in the event. Within 5 thematic sessions, numerous case studies and good practice examples were presented by universities and institutions from Tunisia, Germany, Italy and Spain. The lively discussions after each session were chaired by experts in the field. The Tunisian Ministry of Education presented their strategy in enforcing University-Business relations and demonstrated their support for the project.
On 17th December an info day for students was held at the University of Jendouba. During this event, the project and especially the activities with student involvement were presented to the students and professors, thus generating much interest and expectations among the University community.
